Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland
The girls are so excited about Halloween and had a blast going trick-or-treating at Grandma's and Grandpa's house yesterday. They were planning to go to a Halloween carnival but Carys fell asleep on the way there. Even though they missed the carnival they both had fun in their costumes. Carys loves to twirl in her Cinderella dress and Madison looked so grown-up and cute with her blond wig as Alice in Wonderland. I'm so glad we see the grandkids as often as we do. They are fabulous!!
My 50th Birthday Celebration!!
We celebrated my 50th birthday this past Thursday. It's always fun to celebrate birthdays with family. Mike and LeGrand also have their birthday on this day which makes it triple the fun. I feel very fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends. My favorite part of birthdays is all the sweet notes! Thanks to everyone for making my day special!

Our New Grandson
We were able visit Evan and Marisol in Mexico during October Break. Little baby Jacob is just two weeks old. He looks a lot like little Evan when he was a baby. Little Evan is so excited to have a baby brother. It was wonderful to be able to hold our eighth grandchild. He is such an adorable little baby with gorgeous brown hair. We were so glad to be able to spend time together and be there for his blessing. Both Evan and Marisol feel very blessed to have another little boy!
Visiting friends in San Antonio
We were very happy to be able to take a trip to San Antonio during October Break. We had a great time visiting with Craig and Dorothy Funk good friends of mine from Prescott Valley. We went to the Alamo, rode a boat on the river walk and had dinner there. We also visited the shops in Fredricksburg and went to the San Antonio Temple. It was absolutely gorgeous. Dorothy is a reading teacher and she took me to her school and gave me lots of fabulous materials and ideas. It was so fun to visit and stay with them for a couple of days.

Happy Halloween from Disneyland!
Recently we had a fun vacation to Disneyland and everyone had a blast! Stacey convinced me that it wouldn't be too busy because it was going to rain. It spinkled a little on Saturday and so it was a quiet day at both parks! I couldn't believe that it wasn't busy on Saturday. I told the kids I was going to take a break from Disneyland but I couldn't stay away when the kids decided to go! We missed having Mike and Emily with us but I'm sure we'll go back again to make more Disneyland memories!
