Fun at the Beach
We spent time during the afternoon at the beach. The girls loved playing in the sand and watching the waves come splashing in. Maddie and I loved putting our feet in water. It tickled our toes as the warm water came tumbling in and then it felt good as the foamy, bubbly water receded. I wrote each of the girls names in the sand. Carys enjoyed making friends and playing with a little girl whose family was from Peru. We were able to see the Getty Mansion, the Santa Monica Pier and LA Temple on the way back to our hotel. It was an amazing trip and I was surprised at everything we were able to see and do in a day! Truly, life is beautiful. I would love to go back again and enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather!
Griffith Observatory Park
A quiet, beautiful morning at Disneyland!
The girls love to sing with Snow White at the wishing well. What a beautiful place for kids with ducks and goldfish swimming in the water.
This was a trip earlier to Disneyland with Matt and Jana. I thought this was a cute picture of them. They love Disneyland too!
It was such a peaceful day at Disneyland.
Maddie had so much fun on her horse!
The girls had fun learning the princess dance.
They enjoyed talking to the princess!
I love the castle!
One of my favorite rides is Dumbo!
Carys loves her mommy!
Maddie loves her too!
We arrived at Disneyland at 8:00 in the morning. We were surprised that it only took 40 minutes to drive from Burbank. Since we were early we walked on all the rides. The weather was perfect and it was fun watching Carys solve the mystery at the Indiana Jones performance. We had a wonderful time and left before lunch so we could spend some time at the beach!
Layover in Burbank
Stacey had a 36 hour layover in Burbank so I went with her with the girls. I was happy that we made the flight since it looked quite full earlier. The girls did very well on the flight and enjoyed watching their mom. We read books and they colored on the flight to and from California. We didn't take a stroller but the girls love to ride on the suitcases. It was so cute and great way to get around quickly!
Bridget's Baby Shower
Darla had a fun baby shower for Bridget and baby Tess who is due to arrive the end of July. It was at Darla's beautiful home and the food was delicious. We are so excited to have a another sweet baby girl in the family. Bridget looks great and Presley is looking forward to her baby sister's arrival!

The Little Mermaid Play
Carys was so excited and brought her Little Mermaid purse to the play.
Nicole was adorable dressed up like a sailor. She is such a good dancer too!
Johnny had the role of the king in the play and did great singing his song. We were so proud of how well he did.
When we took Carys home we had a yummy dinner at Stacey's house. The girls enjoyed a story with their daddy.
It was so much fun being able to go to see Johnny and Nicole perform in the play called The Little Mermaid. Carys was so excited and we all had a wonderful time. It was so nice that Carys was able to sit in the front row. Both Johnny and Nicole were amazing in their roles in the play. At the end of the play Carys was so excited that she wanted to go on the stage too! We had a fabulous time and Carys informed me that she would love to do plays too when she turns five!

Ethan's Baptism
Ethan turned eight and was baptized on Saturday. He is such a sweet and intelligent boy. His bishop said that he could always count on Ethan to know all the anwsers and even quote the scriptures too! He had a very special baptism and there was such a sweet spirt there. It was wonderful to feel the spirit and be together as a family!
