Walk to cure Diabetes
Today we went on the Walk to cure Diabetes. Matt invited us so we were a part of his team called Matt's Fan Club. It was at the Tempe Town Lake Park and we walked for about three and a half miles. It took about an hour and a half to walk. We didn't walk fast since there were so many people. They had lots of fun activities for the whole family and it was a wonderful way to raise money for a worthy cause. With all the research they are getting closer to finding a cure for it. It felt good to be a part of such a worth while event. There were over twenty-five thousand people there and they raised over two million dollars. Each of us wore green T-shirts that Matt designed. Next year I'm planning on inviting more friends and family to come along since we had such a great time!!

I would have been as happy as Madison if Emily would have pushed me the whole way. I kept pleading with her and she refused. Lucky Madison and Carys.
My diabetes is cured! Not really, but thanks everyone for trying. Maybe next year! Haha :)

Next year we would love to participate!! It looks like it was well supported though and a lot of money was able to be raised. We love you Matt and pray for a cure someday!
