Matt's White Coat Ceremony

Today we went to Matt's White Coat Ceremony.
Dr. Beyda gave an outstanding keynote address.

I'm so happy that Matt is a dedicated medical student!

What a cute couple!

Matt is now an official medical student with his white coat. He is one of the 48 first-year students attending The University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. We are so excited that he has decided to pursue a noble career in medicine. Matt is such a kind and compassionate son. All of his family members wrote him a letter that he read before the ceremony. He said it was a touching experience and I'm so glad we were able to be there!

Family Night

We went to Stephanie's home for family night and she made some delicious chicken enchiladas and a yummy lemon cake. The cousins always have fun when they get together.

Wicked

We went to see the play Wicked at Gammage to celebrate Matt's Birthday. It was fabulous and we had a blast!

A day at Disneyland

Stacey had a long layover in Burbank so I took the girls

on her flight so we could spend the day at Disneyland.

Madison is quite the little photographer!

They are always making changes at Disneyland. It's a Small World had new characters throughout the ride. I'm glad we took this quick trip to California since it's always fun to celebrate at the happiest place on earth.

Sadie's First Birthday!

We were so happy to be with Sadie on her first birthday!

We had a blast being able to spend time with Sadie on her first birthday! She is such an adorable granddaughter and we were so excited to be able to see her take her first steps. Thanks Mike and Emily for the great time we had with you in North Carolina!
