Disneyland and the Beach

We took a quick trip to California to spend time with family at the beach and at Disneyland. It was lots of fun being with everyone!! My favorite activity was the canoe ride! We love Disneyland!!

Jana's Shower

Jana had a fun bridal shower on Saturday. The food was delicious and it was great to get together. Carys enjoyed helping Jana with her gifts. Jana's cousin Katie made a cute video of Matt answering questions. She video taped him answering questions and then Jana would try to answer it the same way that Matt did. She had some fun questions like where and when was your first kiss? Jana did great and we all had a blast.

Happy Birthday Stacey!

Stacey is thirty! After watching President Hinckley's Memorial Service I'm grateful for the opportunity that I have had along with millions of other people to learn from him. He touched my life and made things simple so that I could understand them. I appreciate everything he stands for especially kindness, goodness and his marvelous sense of humor. He served continuously throughout his life. When he was discouraged his Dad's advice was forget yourself and go to work.

I remember being in the hospital 30 years ago after Stacey was born and feeling ovewhelmed with the great responsibility of motherhood. I wanted her to have the best example possible and of course I wanted the best for her. Stacey was a very alert baby not requiring a lot of sleep. I called her Little Miss Bright Eyes. She was always on the go abounding with energy.

To this day she is amazing and energetic! She is a wonderful daughter and beautiful young lady. I found some old pictures on the computer and thought it would be fun to share some. (I hope she doesn't mind I found quite a few.) She loves life, her family and her idea of the perfect job would be to work at Disneyland! She says if you have to work, you might as well be happy, and be at the happiest place on earth! She is a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She forgets herself and is such a hard worker. I am blessed to be her mom and love spending time with her. Happy birthday Stacey!

Adorable New Grandson

We are very blessed and happy to have another grandchild in our family. Stephanie gave birth to a healthy, handsome eight pound twelve ounce boy early this morning. Stephanie is doing well and will be in the hospital until Saturday. It is so wonderful to cradle that sweet little baby boy in our arms. He is absolutely perfect!! Everyone is so excited with new addition especially Alyssa who will be a big help to her mom. It is amazing to see our family growing! We have nine grandchildren now!

Disneyland

We were able to spend a day at Disneyland with the family. It was beautiful with only a few light sprinkles of rain during the day. We walked on rides. It was fun to see Jason and Jessie too! The girls love to spend time with them! I thought it was a perfect day! January seems to be a great time to go to Disneyland if you want to avoid the crowds.

Christmas Fun!

We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The girls loved riding their new horse and opening gifts. We wish you a very Happy New Year!
