We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The girls loved riding their new horse and opening gifts. We wish you a very Happy New Year!
The kids were excited to sit on Santa's lap and receive a small gift. All of the kids enjoyed talking to Santa except for Madison. She did not want to get close to Santa!
One of our Christmas Eve traditions is to have the children act out the Nativity. Stephanie sets the evening off by singing, "Marys Lullaby". This is one of my favorite Christmas songs. My dad reads the story, "Twas the Night Before Christmas" as the kids await the arrival of Santa. The kids love this story!
We had our annual Christmas Eve dinner at our home this year. We set up tables in the family room and Tom moved the couches. My sister Susan helped me decorate and it turned out very pretty with the red and green. We were happy to have Mike and Emily arrive that night too!
We took pictures of the girls at the park. The girls always want to be outside. Carys loves to give Madison hugs! Sometimes her hugs are little too tight!
We had our ward Christmas party and dressed in clothes that people wore in Bethleham during our Savior's birth. Tom and I sold pastries at the pastry shop. We had fun with the girls collecting coins for the pastries. Our shop was the favorite shop at the market place!
We visited Santa at Superstition Mall and Carys loved visiting with Santa but Madison did not want to get near him. I finally had to sit down so she would sit down next to Santa. The girls were excited to ride the reindeer on the carousel and Tom and I had a blast seeing the girls mesmerized by all the Christmas decorations.
LeGrand's brother Robbie married Samantha and they had delicious dinner and beautiful reception in Gilbert. Their cake was amazing and everything was so elegant. We had a wonderful time with the kids and grandkids. LeGrand brother Stuart recently got engaged and will be getting married in March. It's has been a busy time for LeGrand's family!
