Last Trip to Disneyland

Madison had a blast taking a walk around the Quality Inn we stayed at right behind Mimi's Cafe.
Carys loves driving the cars at Autotopia. She was so excited to get a driving license.

Carys is so sweet to her little sister Madison and takes good care of her.

The girls had a wonderful time with friends at the Princess Fair.

The girls had fun posing with Mickey Mouse!

Stacey loves to spend time at Disneyland! She looks so cute in her hat!!

Madison had a great view on Grandpa's shoulders!

Jessie and her sisters posed for us at my favorite picture spot!

Madison and Carys love to be with Jason and Jessie!

Alice in Wonderland was a fun ride for Madison!!

Stacey and Carys took some fun shots!

Carys loves to go on the Dumbo ride!

Grandpa and Madison love it too!

We love to go early so we can walk on all the rides!

Peter Pan is the first ride we like to go on and then we usually head for Dumbo! We had a fun day and since our season passes expired maybe we will try Sea World for a change! The best part of family trips is just spending time together!

Fun in Pinetop

We went to Pinetop a few weeks ago to see Marisol and Evan. They spoke in church and we took care of the boys. They both did great, we had a wonderful time and I saw so many people that I knew there. The weather was beautiful and we had so much fun playing with the boys. Marisol made a delicious dinner and we wish we could have stayed longer!

A visit to Fairview

Last week-end we drove to Fairview to visit Jason and Jessie. We were able to see lots of historical sites. My favorite was an old green chest that came across the plains in a covered wagon. Inside the chest was a beautiful hand stitched wedding dress that belonged to my great-great-great-grandmother who died while crossing the plains. The dress in the picture was made from the slip skirt from that hand stictched wedding dress. We also were able to see my great-great grandparents home in Fairview. While inside the museum we also saw a picture of the Vance brothers...one was Tom's Great-Great-Grandfather. It was amazing to see that both of our relatives founded Fairview. It was so beautiful there and we had a wonderful time at Jessie's parents cabin just 30 minutes from Fairview. As you can see from the pictures we had a blast and the scenery was breathtaking. My favorite part was the yummy food. Jessie is a fabulous cook and Jason barbecued some delicious steaks too. We were very blessed that Barb and Scott Elder shared their fabulous cabin with us!
